Stauder's Navajo at Coolidge The Navajo Lodge offers western hospitality at it's best! The ranch style home and cottages are located on "Old U.S. 66", 20 miles east of Gallup and 3 miles west of the Continental Divide--all in the heart of "Indian Country". The residence is a replica of a Spanish hacienda furnished with a variety of Spanish and other antiques with Indian arts collected from the area. The yard is a virtual oasis with myriad of hanging plants, shrubs, and flowers. Two cottages which have Native American and Mexican decor including antiques, each with a private bath, are available. A continental breakfast served in the main residence in the Great Room, offers a breathtaking view of the Red Rocks. A welcome basket, fresh flowers, and daily surprises await your arrival. Gallup is the "Indian Capital of the World" and boasts collections of the finest Native American arts and crafts, and the world renowned Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial, held on the second weekend of August every year. Navajo Lodge is located conveniently near Chaco Canyon, Navajo, Zuni and Acoma reservations, and the famous Crownpoint Rug Auction. A deposit of half the total expected billing is requested and should be received within 10 days after reservations are made. There is no smoking in the cottages.
